On a Personal Note From the desk of Jim Ziegler, CSP, HSG


It's been a while since I just sat down and wrote a personalized newsletter like this.

The car business is rapidly changing, and not entirely for the better, but; nevertheless, it's going to continue changing and we need to get out of the way or roll with it.

As you may have noticed I'm going to be the keynote speaker for The Fall 2007 Digital Dealer Conference & Exposition (October 1-3 at the Las Vegas Hilton).

I came up with theme... 'It's time to get serious about the internet' and Mike Roscoe, the magazine's publisher, was all over it. This is going to be an event you can't afford to miss. Get yourself and your key people signed up right now while there are still extra seats for sale. I anticipate this one's gonna be a sellout.

My good friend and long-time technology marketing mentor, Mike Stewart, is going to be presenting a workshop at the conference as well. Mike is the absolute Lord of The realm when it comes to Audio and Video Blogging. Mike is helping me set up my first Blog right now.

Remember I said this... "I predict Blogging is the Next Big Thing in Dealership Customer Relationship Marketing."

Blogging is the absolute best way to use the Internet to get customers for life.

AND, if that's not enough good news, J.C. Hurst who is my in-house IT and Network Guru will also be speaking at the conference. You've seen my websites. Well J.C. does all of the web content for our 50+ websites as well as all of the graphics. The man is a genius. J.C. will be speaking about 'Negative Search Engine Maximization'...what it is...why you need to be aware of it...are you already a victim...and how to defend yourself against it.

Currently, J.C. consults a number of our dealership clients on how to maximize their search engine listings. He's the best.

J.C. Hurst and I and Mike Stewart will be available during the entire conference with booths in the exhibit area to speak with all of you.

How's business?

You know, traveling 200 days a year, I work with a lot of dealerships in many cities. I am the only nationally recognized trainer and seminar producer that works the desk when I am in the stores. I stay on top of what's happening now.

AND, the dealers I am working with are all hitting their numbers without sacrificing gross.
