"It's Crunch Time"

It's a state of mind you know? Let me ask you a question. If you were able to sell just one more unit a day...just one additional unit every day...what kind of a difference would that make on your dealership considering the current economy?

In truth, just one additional unit every day would have made almost every dealership in the country profitable.

OR...if your managers and sales professionals increased the gross per retailed unit by just $300.00...what kind of an impact would that make on your dealership? Many dealerships have forgotten how to be profitable per unit and their managers and sales persons are selling scared. If the unit sales aren't there you'd better make it on gross per unit.

You can blame the economy...or you can get it in gear and sell just one more unit a day or increase the gross on what you're now selling.

I'm predicting we will see a strong resurgence in sales beginning in March and I don't think you're ready to handle it. Your people need to be razor-sharp in today's retail environment. We cannot accept excuses from our employees, from our managers...or from ourselves for that matter.

It's tough out there. So what? You can wimp-out and wallow in a depression-session...you can go down with the ship...or you can get mad as hell and find some renewed strength.
